They are the papers for which authors have given permission for placement on this website. Hence, some presentations are not represented by a paper in this Ash Library.
The International Ash Utilization Symposia (IAUS)
The International Ash Utilization Symposia Series grew out of a regional workshop series held annually from 1992 through 1994. Interest in the information in the field of coal combustion by-product utilization was so great that, in 1995, the first symposium was held. The Series has continued as a biennial event, with Symposia held in 1997, 1999, 2001, and 2003.
The World of Coal Ash (WOCA)
The World of Coal Ash (WOCA) was a conference combining in one venue the international symposia previously offered separately by the American Coal Ash Association and the Center for Applied Energy Research at the University of Kentucky. Additionally, it incorporated meetings and workshops for the U. S. Office of Surface Mining, and the U. S. Dept. of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory.
